Stoke Footpath Group

Our footpath group was formed in the summer of 2021, as an offshoot of Stoke Environment Group. Since then individuals and small groups have been out and about cutting back and trimming around stiles and along some of our footpaths. We have also worked with local landowners, the Parish Council, and the County Footpath Wardens. The aim is to encourage people to walk round and across fields and vary their walks to get to know the lovely countryside that surrounds the village. We also realise that not everyone can clamber over stiles, so we also aim to make our village footpaths as accessible as possible. Learn more by following the links above.
